Korean spouses can invite the parents or relatives of marriage immigrants to Korea, and if any of them wish to enter Korea, they must apply for a visa directly at the Korean embassy or consulate in their country of residence. Depending on the type of visa applied for by them, the range of relatives who can be invited and the documents to be submitted are different, and some documents may be added contingent on the local circumstances of each host country. It is well advised to inquire directly at the Korean embassy or consulate in each country for information about the documents required to be submitted when applying for a visa or the range of relatives of marriage immigrants eligible for visa issuance.
